This camshaft is deigned for stroker motors with valve reliefs in the top of the pistons. 383, 402, 416, 427, 440 ect. In a 383, 402 or 416 this is a slightly larger camshaft that will provide great power, torque and drivability. Great cam for a stroker motor as the high end horsepower generated by this stick will compliment the midrange tq of your 4" crank.
